Postul Mare - Great Lent

Rânduiala liturgică din prima Săptămână a Postului Mare, include una dintre cele mai frumoase slujbe de pocăinăă: Canonul cel Mare al Sfântului Andrei Criteanul. Începând de mâine seară, până joi seară inclusiv, vom săvârși de la ora 6.30 pm., slujba Canonului de pocăință al Sfântului Andrei Criteanul.


Să-L rugăm pe Domnul Iisus să ne dăruiască puterea de a simți in suflet roadele pocăinței din Postul Mare, așa cum spune Sfântul Ioan Gura de Aur: “ Noi dăruim ceea ce avem - postirea, ca să primim ceea ce nu avem , nepătimirea”.

The liturgical order of the first week of Great Lent includes one of the most beautiful penitential services: the Great Canon of Saint Andrew the Cretan. Starting tomorrow evening, until Thursday evening inclusive, we will celebrate from 6.30 pm, the service of the Canon of Penitential Service of Saint Andrew the Cretan.


Let us ask the Lord Jesus to grant us the strength to feel in our souls the fruits of repentance during Great Lent, as Saint John Chrysostom says: “We give what we have - fasting, in order to receive what we do not have - non-passion”.
